Rest and Restore
In our busy environments, we can absorb so much information where it can be difficult to unwind and release stressors. We often overlook the importance of rest, until our bodies force us to rest through sickness, aches and dis-ease. Many of us may find it challenging to slow down, unwind, and find ease in our busy worlds.
What to expect:

What is Restorative Yoga?
- Poses are held for at least 5 minutes and up to 20 minutes.
- It aims to relax and release muscles as opposed to stretching and/or strengthening.
- The body is completely supported by the mat or props in the poses.
- It is a receptive practice, not an active practice.
What is Yoga Nidra?
Yoga Nidra is a form of guided meditation that means yogic sleep in Sanskrit. It surfs the liminal space between wakefulness and sleep. It is a state of deep relaxation yet while being conscious and aware.
It uses a systematic, progressive process to bring stillness to the mind, awaken the heart, and reduces physical, mental, and emotional tension for healing.
