Rest and Restore Sat 14th November 2026
Rest and Restore
Saturday 14th November 6 p.m. - 8 p.m.
Location: Bewell, Longford, N39 W5D7
An intimate evening of slowing down, resting and reconnecting.
In the busyness of everyday life, there can be very little space to simply pause. We are constantly taking in information, responding to demands and moving from one thing to the next. Rest can easily become something we fit in when everything else is done.
Yet rest is not a luxury. It is an important part of caring for our bodies, minds and overall wellbeing.
Rest & Restore offers you the opportunity to step away from the noise and demands of everyday life and come into a slower, more spacious environment. A place where you don't need to achieve, perform or be productive — you can simply arrive as you are.
Through gentle restorative practices, deep rest, grounding, reflection and connection, this evening is an invitation to pause, reconnect with yourself and experience what it feels like to truly rest.
My intention for our time together is to:
Create a warm, compassionate and non-judgemental space where you can slow down and rest.
Support you to soothe your nervous system and settle into a deeper sense of calm and ease.
Offer an opportunity to reconnect with yourself, your body and your own needs.
Create space for self-compassion, reflection and simply being.
If you have extra time to stay on later for tea and chats.
What to expect
Our evening will include a combination of gentle practices designed to support rest, grounding and connection:
Grounding practices to help you arrive and settle.
Restorative yoga — gentle, supported movement suitable for beginners, prenatal, postnatal women and those with no previous yoga experience.
Yoga Nidra — a guided practice of deep rest and relaxation, suitable for beginners.
Meditation to create space for stillness and awareness.
Time simply to be — without expectation or the need to do anything.
Tea and chats - option to pause a little longer with the group with some warming tea and connection.
You will be supported with restorative yoga props such as bolsters, blankets, pillows and blocks, allowing the body to feel comfortable and held throughout the practice.
This is for you if you're longing for:
A pause from the busyness of everyday life.
Time to slow down and simply be.
A space to reconnect with yourself and your inner world.
Deep rest without needing to achieve or accomplish anything.
Gentle, supported movement and relaxation.
An opportunity to soothe and settle your nervous system.
Time away from your usual responsibilities and demands.
Connection with others in a warm and intimate setting.
A space to reflect, journal, meditate or simply be still.
To feel held, supported and cared for.
You don't need to have any experience of yoga, meditation or Yoga Nidra.
Come exactly as you are. There is no expectation to share, participate in every practice or have any particular experience. This is your time to pause, rest and reconnect.
