Do you ever feel like this?
There are so many theories, religions, guides, lifestyles, ways to live that it can be really hard not to feel “I don’t know how to live life right”.
We have so much instant access to an abundance of information. This can be great, but it can also create an overwhelming feeling and a reminder that there is so much that we don’t know and an inadequacy of things we “need” and “need to know”. It might also create an unrealistic expectation that one day we will eventually get to some magical destination where we will know everything and then “I’ll be good enough”.
At times, it can be overwhelming especially if trying to find a guide that fits “perfectly” for you. In my experience, the more doors I open, the more confused I can end up. And with this, the more I change. The “right” way for me will always change and evolve, because I/we always change and evolve.
The pace of our growth and learning is important too. If we are constantly searching for meaning, going deep within our inner worlds, focusing only on our personal development, we may forget to actually live life itself (whatever “live life” actually means to you).
